    This is a Kenyan novel I didn t read the study guide, but read the novel, and it doesn t seem to exist on this site Perhaps it is out of print I read this in 1997 and found it absolutely fascinating, although it was very sad Waiyaki struggles to see what is the way forward for his people, after the arrival of the white missionaries I can t say too much or I will spoil the story, but many questions are raised I made a note that the relationships in the book were well written and convincing This is a Kenyan novel I didn t read the study guide, but read the novel, and it doesn t seem to exist on this site Perhaps it is out of print I read this in 1997 and found it absolutely fascinating, although it was very sad Waiyaki struggles to see what is the way forward for his people, after the arrival of the white missionaries I can t say too much or I will spoil ...
