I have always loved reading It became my passion as I grew up As a teen, I tried my hand at fiction The Fifty ePUB Æ a few times, but didn t pursue it Instead, I pursued a career in journalism where I knew I could make money well, a little bit, anywayI ve been writing fanfiction for a few years and love the feedback from readers I only seriously began thinking of writing a book in the spring of After reading Shades of Grey and hearing people talk about it in the summer, I became inspired to write my own erotic romance This was mainly because I found Shades to be complete drivel and poorly writtenI made a dare to myself to write a bookand I didin about three months The result is something I can hold in my hands and say I dida challenge met The Fifty List was great fun to write, as was its sequel, The Other Side of Fifty, which I released in the fall of Fifty More is the third installment in the trilogy, released in December I love hearing people debate the characters, the morality and what should happen It blows me away to hear people I know talking about characters that just came out of nowherethey formed in my brain, spilled out through my fingers and basically did what they wanted on the computer screenPam, Martin, Dave and Ruby really called all the shotsI had very little to do with it I released another romance in April , but it is much different from my first foray into writing The Innocent Flame of Seduction is set in th Century Ireland and revolves around a group of Gaels who are less than appreciative of the Normans attempt to extinguish their ancient ancestral cultureI realize buying a paper book is expensive Aeconomical way to buy is to download an ebook from , Kobo, Apple, Sony or Smashwords I m definitely not in this to make money I want people to enjoy the book and share their thoughts Reviews are most welcomeEmbrace life,Embrace love,Darlene Hesley.

If you think Darlene Hesley s novel is going to be a spin off of Fifty Shades of Grey chalk full of angst and cardboard stereotypes think again Hesley writes her characters as well as she might write your best friend or neighbour, sometimes so real you sense that they re in the room Each is sympathetic in some ways, infuriating in others Hesley reinforces the Harlequin formula and then knocks it over on the same page No one character issympathetic than the other You come to love t If you think Darlene Hesley s novel is going to be a spin off of Fifty Shades of Grey chalk full of angst and cardboard stereotypes think again Hesley writes her characters as well as she might write your best friend or neighbour, sometimes so real you sense that they re in the room Each is sympathetic in some ways, infuriating in others Hesley reinforces the Harlequin formula and then knocks it over on the same page No one character issympathetic than the other You come to love the seemingly dull husband and his rose coloured glasses as much as you want to crawl into the arms of the arresting protagonist, Martin It may seem as though the author endorses the kind of relationship explored in her novel, but a deeper reading uncovers muchthan that Hesley blurs right and wrong, asking tough questions about marriage and motherhood, what it means to be a career woman and a good partner, and what waits for us after our milestone 50
