Since I today read Colleen Venable s YA graphic novel, Kiss Number Eight, I pulled this off the shelf, another kissing book, but for littl uns, with a twist It would seem that dinosaurs need to really learn how to kiss They re dinosaurs, after all They areinto whomping, chomping, or stomping But after a series of disastrous attempts, our hero finds another dinosaur to kiss, in a particularly dinosaur ist way, which involves, you guessed it, much whomping, chomping, and stomping Just t Since I today read Colleen Venable s YA graphic novel, Kiss Number Eight, I pulled this off the shelf, another kissing book, but for littl uns, with a twist It would seem that dinosaurs need to really learn how to kiss They re dinosaurs, after all They areinto whomping, chomping, or stomping But after a series of disastrous attempts, our hero finds another dinosaur to kiss, in a particularly dinosaur ist way, which involves, you guessed it, much whomping, chomping, and stomping Just try to keep Pre k to 2nd grade readers from trying this kind of kissing out on each other, I dare you

This made me laugh and laugh David Ezra Stein has not written your typical book about kisses There was a bit of unexpected violence, which would be natural in a dinosaur environment The ending was also unexpected and hilarious This would be fun to read aloud in a storytime for Valentine s day It would definitely provide a new perspective on kisses

Snort I enjoyed this book a bitthan the actual story time crowd, I think, as it s a rather tiny book But I might ve horrified entertained some of the parents.

A dinosaur book for the youngest readers that is true to the physical, violent world of dinosaurs The whomp, stomp and chomp repeats make this a fun book to read aloud Be warned If a dinosaur wants to pucker up and kiss you, run

WHOMP CHOMP STOMP My toddler loved reading along with the the dinosaur who is learning how to kiss Try pairing this book with one of the library s dinosaur puppets for added fun and hilarity and, yes, you can take the puppet home with you.

I am eager to try this book out with the target audience I enjoyed it and I think children will too This is a different sort of look at kisses and I have to admit the end surprised me, it was not at all what I was expecting, but it definitely made me laugh The antics of the young dinosaur reminded me greatly of a young child with her enthusiasm and determination The baby t rex starts off stomping and chomping, but then she sees a kiss and decides that is what she wants to do, but her efforts I am eager to try this book out with the target audience I enjoyed it and I think children will too This is a different sort of look at kisses and I have to admit the end surprised me, it was not at all what I was expecting, but it definitely made me laugh The antics of the young dinosaur reminded me greatly of a young child with her enthusiasm and determination The baby t rex starts off stomping and chomping, but then she sees a kiss and decides that is what she wants to do, but her efforts fail in funny ways, until she finds the right creature to kiss, although not in the way I expected I love this kind of book because they are so fun to share The reader thinks he she knows where the story is going only to be delightfully surprised Highly recommended
