About me How anyone can summarize their whole being within a little block of space is beyond meI have tried on numerous bio pages and what not and I hate making them So, let s just say I wear many hats Mother, daughter, friend, writer, boss, employee, student, lover, and whatever else I may do within my One Knight's PDF/EPUB or dayWe all wear many hats within our lives, and most days we are stressed beyond words because of them So I write down my words and hope that someone out there is entertained by them and it helps them escape for a few minutes into another place where there are no hats.

Another short and sweet book Putting the errant language for the time aside, it wasn t too bad for a quickie Sybille is an 18 year old and i must stress old, because she s 18 and unmarried so she s well on her way to being an old maid daughter of a once wealthy nobleman of some sort He fell grace and sold her, his 3 youngest sons, his castle, and land for some quick cash Too bad they didn t just have pawn shops in the 11th century, the whole mess could have been avoided Anyway, a perverte Another short and sweet book Putting the errant language for the time aside, it wasn t too bad for a quickie Sybille is an 18 year old and i must stress old, because she s 18 and unmarried so she s well on her way to being an old maid daughter of a once wealthy nobleman of some sort He fell grace and sold her, his 3 youngest sons, his castle, and land for some quick cash Too bad they didn t just have pawn shops in the 11th century, the whole mess could have been avoided Anyway, a perverted knight saw a 15 year old girl and decided he was in love with her, so he decided to work some over time for his employer and entered some tournaments to make some money Lucky for him 3 years later he was able to buy his new car woman of his dreams that he saw that one time So he gets to the place and kills some people and chucks her younger brothers into slave labor, well except for the 6 year old that he gave to a young apprentice that seemed way too eager to get a young boy to hang around him all the time The unusually tall Estashe, starts to treat his new wench like crap, because he doesn t know how to treat the ladies Maybe he should have spent some time in Italy Romantic feelings are brand new to Sybille, the only men she has really been around were her brothers and some old knights They were probably in like their thirties, i mean they were practically ancient She is confused by her new feelings and Estashe gets a handle on how to treat hernicely after they have a surprise skinny dip in the secret hot spring The fryer shows up and marries them, they consummate their marriage in great detail, 9 months later she has a baby Bing bang boom I m 50 50 on wishing the book was longer On one hand, it was a good story, and i enjoyed it On the other, it wasn t very historically accurate and i would have been annoyed pretty quickly 4 stars It was charming and worth the read

This book looked promising at first, but after reading, I can absolutely understand why it was free Our leading man is a brute with a nice body He calls the girl he s been dreaming about buying for 3 years a wench for the first half of the book I thought the book was finally getting some ground and then to my surprise, the authors note showed up After the first night of sex and the first time the girl shows she s warming up to the guy the author does a time skip to a year later when she go This book looked promising at first, but after reading, I can absolutely understand why it was free Our leading man is a brute with a nice body He calls the girl he s been dreaming about buying for 3 years a wench for the first half of the book I thought the book was finally getting some ground and then to my surprise, the authors note showed up After the first night of sex and the first time the girl shows she s warming up to the guy the author does a time skip to a year later when she goes into labor The book ends with her telling him now when he warns her she should be going into labor any day now Maybe and that s a BIG maybe this could of had been a decent book had it of not been a short story Sadly it was, and as a result, it was a poor excuse for a story

Really quick read At first you think this knight is an ass and he does come off that way but you ll change your mind about him soon enough Sybillie is left at the desitute keep with her three younger brothers and 3 elderly helpers Then one day a couple of men ride up with proof of thier claim to the keep Sybille s father sold the keep and everything in it..including her and her brothers. This was a freebie from nook that I finally got around to reading It was a little to short for me It see Really quick read At first you think this knight is an ass and he does come off that way but you ll change your mind about him soon enough Sybillie is left at the desitute keep with her three younger brothers and 3 elderly helpers Then one day a couple of men ride up with proof of thier claim to the keep Sybille s father sold the keep and everything in it..including her and her brothers. This was a freebie from nook that I finally got around to reading It was a little to short for me It seemed like a historical romance on fast foward The bare bones of a story without all that fluffy filler

A fairly short tale that is decently well written, though a bit lacking in substance perhaps The characters are developed fairly well though, such that you actually care about them before long, the heroine a bitthan the hero since most of it is told from her POV I had expected somethingerotic, and though there is heat bewteen them, there is only on actual sex scene, and while it is nice, it s not totally scorching hot Still, for the price free , you can t really go wrong with thi A fairly short tale that is decently well written, though a bit lacking in substance perhaps The characters are developed fairly well though, such that you actually care about them before long, the heroine a bitthan the hero since most of it is told from her POV I had expected somethingerotic, and though there is heat bewteen them, there is only on actual sex scene, and while it is nice, it s not totally scorching hot Still, for the price free , you can t really go wrong with this little story, provided you like historical romance set in medieval times

Honestly I did not like this story at all The leading man was not only an ass but for a man that strove for 3 years to buy the land and woman he wants and calls her a wench Nah I dont see it, I mean why take the time and energy to get her hand when you treat her like a whore The way he treated the brothers too did nothing but make me mad It just made my heart ache for them He seemedvillian than hero to me. Mabye if the story was longer and if we say how it progressed it wouldnt Honestly I did not like this story at all The leading man was not only an ass but for a man that strove for 3 years to buy the land and woman he wants and calls her a wench Nah I dont see it, I mean why take the time and energy to get her hand when you treat her like a whore The way he treated the brothers too did nothing but make me mad It just made my heart ache for them He seemedvillian than hero to me.
