CAMP KISS gives a realistic portrayal of camp life, including whitewater rafting and pup tents in the woods But the most intriguing element of the book is Lauren s relationship with Seth a tall, dreamy, mature boy almost any girl would swoon over Each time they re together, the reader hopes their friendship will become so muchAnd CAMP KISS is not without a villain, excitement, and even danger It s a romantic, fun read that all ages can enjoy I highly recommend it.

Camp Kiss by J.K Rock is a very pleasant trip down memory lane or at least the memory lane I would have liked it to be I am almost certain that practically everybody who ever went to summer camp wound up in love with another camper Summer camp is the home tosurreptitious kisses, sweaty hand holding, and broken hearts, than any other venue, with the possible exception of High School Still, summer camp is remembered with fondness throughout one s life Camp Kiss is a tale that w Camp Kiss by J.K Rock is a very pleasant trip down memory lane or at least the memory lane I would have liked it to be I am almost certain that practically everybody who ever went to summer camp wound up in love with another camper Summer camp is the home tosurreptitious kisses, sweaty hand holding, and broken hearts, than any other venue, with the possible exception of High School Still, summer camp is remembered with fondness throughout one s life Camp Kiss is a tale that will seem very personally familiar to a lot of people, I suspect A lotpeople people like me, for example will just WISH it seemed personally familiar, but will know of others to whom it will seem like a diary of their own experiences at summer camp Personally, I had trouble working up the nerve to move past the sweaty hand holding stage, but I always fell in love, every summer, and always with a new most beautiful girl in the world. This short story runs on the long side for a short story, which just gives you that muchto enjoy reading A girl and a boy have been best friends during summer camp for the past 6 or 7 years Last summer she started having deeper feelings for him, but never had the nerve to tell him This summer, no matter what it takes, she plans to let him know she would like to be his girl friend But, alas, her bunkmates DARED her to kiss him, in a misguided attempt to help her out She managed to sneak time alone with him on many occasions, always being interrupted just when she was about to kiss him Finally, though, HE kissed HER, to her great surprise This summer was going to be perfect Except one of the mean girls that always seem to be hanging around close enough to overhear fodder for their gossip sessions, heard about the dare, and told him that was the only reason she kissed him.How would he take that news Would he shrug it off, considering the source Would he break it off with her Would he crawl into a shell, and ignore her for the rest of the summer Would he perhaps stoop so low as to start nasty rumors about her Any of the above would certainly be within the realm of possibility I m going to let you have the fun and pleasure of finding out for yourself when you read Camp Kiss You WILL enjoy reading this story It is very well written, the characters absolutely MUST be patterned after real people the author knew from her own days of summer camp, and the camp activities will bring back so many nostalgic memories of your own time at summer camp you ll wish you were a kid again I very much recommend you get and read this story It will bring a smile to your face, and warm your heart as you relive your own summer camp experiences

Oh my goodnessI missed out on a good thing, summer camp J K. Rock s novella, Camp Kiss, really made me wish I had that opportunity I ve always wanted to go, and reading about Lauren and Seth s story, took me there The setting was quite vivid, and I could envision the trails, the trip down the rapids, and the camp circle in the evening I loved watching Lauren and Seth wrangle with their feelings, and how they approached their first kiss It made my heart pitter patter, because it caused Oh my goodnessI missed out on a good thing, summer camp J K. I stumbled upon Camp Boyfriend and then noticed that there was a prequel I decided to read it first and in a way, I wish that I wouldn t have, simply because I got too involved in the story Is that a bad thing I could relate to Lauren When I was 14, I had big dreams of going to space I loved to watch a movie called SpaceCamp over and over and over again I was also about that age when I discovered that boys were kind of cute I felt kind of awkward at that age not really a girl, yet not re I stumbled upon Camp Boyfriend and then noticed that there was a prequel I decided to read it first and in a way, I wish that I wouldn t have, simply because I got too involved in the story Is that a bad thing I could relate to Lauren When I was 14, I had big dreams of going to space I loved to watch a movie called SpaceCamp over and over and over again I was also about that age when I discovered that boys were kind of cute I felt kind of awkward at that age not really a girl, yet not really a woman Unlike Lauren, I didn t have big dreams of snagging a boyfriend and having a first kiss, but her feelings were still very easy to understand.I really liked Seth He seemed so grown up and mature, yet he was worried about things in his life too and had to deal with insecurities, just like any other teen.I never went to a summer camp like this one and the movie The Parent Trap totally convinced me that I was missing out I can t say if this is what a summer camp is really like or not, but it sure fits the one I imagined in my mind Content kissing talk of hooking up some swearing
