The first book in the Natasha Series by Heather Greenis, Natasha s Dream, is a very easy, provocative book to read I was so intrigued that I had to read it in one sitting and now have to make sure to get the other books in the series Keeghan and William find a bottle with a portrait of a royal family in it while they are walking their dog, Constable, along the beach The portrait interests them but they go about their business on this day, planting the garden, planting flowers, and golfing A The first book in the Natasha Series by Heather Greenis, Natasha s Dream, is a very easy, provocative book to read I was so intrigued that I had to read it in one sitting and now have to make sure to get the other books in the series Keeghan and William find a bottle with a portrait of a royal family in it while they are walking their dog, Constable, along the beach The portrait interests them but they go about their business on this day, planting the garden, planting flowers, and golfing After a hot afternoon finishing up the planting of flowers, Keeghan takes a nap on the hammock and enters another world, one she has no idea about Princess Natasha is not wanted in her family simply because she is a girl She gets along with her brothers well enough but not with her parents, especially her father She knows her time is limited in the castle before her father marries her off to another royal family Ahead of her brothers in their schoolwork, she is allowed to study alone in the gardens of the palace She wanders off and meets Stewart Donovan with whom she strikes up a friendship which continues through their young adulthood and into a university setting The two fall in love but Natasha knows it will end when she tells him the truth of who she is Love and family loyalty are two themes which Heather seems to have explored in this book She does a wonderful job of creating Stewart Donovan s loving and loyal family who do all they can to welcome the young girl into their family and to keep her and her daughter safe and out of reach of her father Marcus and Joshua, Natasha s brothers, and their Nanny also show their loyalty and love to Natasha by keeping track of what their father is doing and keep the young family out of his reach Love and loyalty also extend to the dogs in the story, Constable and Goldie The book is definitely one which needs to be read but keep the tissues handy The surprise ending definitely lends itself to a sequel Luckily for me, the sequel is already out so I don t have to wait on it Heather Greenis did an excellent job on this book I can t wait to read the others

What a start A drama that takes a reader deep into the plot I loved how the author transitioned the two stories, keeping the reader connected and thinking What a dream Keeghan is having Natasha rebells against her family and tradition That line captured my attention Considering this is the first book this author has written, I m impressed The plot is intersting and has kept my attention The main character isn t abused phsically, but psychologicaly Being a softie, I was able to feel her What a start A drama that takes a reader deep into the plot I loved how the author transitioned the two stories, keeping the reader connected and thinking What a dream Keeghan is having Natasha rebells against her family and tradition That line captured my attention Considering this is the first book this author has written, I m impressed The plot is intersting and has kept my attention The main character isn t abused phsically, but psychologicaly Being a softie, I was able to feel her pain and understand her internal struggles The characters, Stewart and Natasha as well described and human And of course the author has included two dogs I love Constable and Goldie I m eagerly waiting for book two in this continuing saga to see how the plot unfolds.Four emotion packed stars

I would not normally pick up any kind of romance novel, but the cover had me intrigued, especially with the shadow Then the back cover had me hitting the BUY NOW button, and I was not disappointed For a new author, Heather Greenis has definitely put a lot of effort into researching and polishing her story, creating credible characters that can exist in any era Twists and turns kept me turning pages, and then the cliffhanger ending This is a saga that connects the reader using a crafty blen I would not normally pick up any kind of romance novel, but the cover had me intrigued, especially with the shadow Then the back cover had me hitting the BUY NOW button, and I was not disappointed For a new author, Heather Greenis has definitely put a lot of effort into researching and polishing her story, creating credible characters that can exist in any era Twists and turns kept me turning pages, and then the cliffhanger ending This is a saga that connects the reader using a crafty blend of historical and present day characters, and keeps you wanting to know what happens next I want the second book to get my questions answered Full marks for this one

I have to admit after reading the other reviews for Natasha s Dream, I feel a tad bit dumb, but I was lost when the book transitioned from the modern day couple to a Princess who feel asleep in a hammock and woke chasing her dog down to the beach Suddenly, I was drowning while clinging to a rickety staircase uphill and ended up next to my dog, listening to some man tell of Princess Natasha and her brothers, how she wasn t valued by her parents, and was denied the love of her choice while waitin I have to admit after reading the other reviews for Natasha s Dream, I feel a tad bit dumb, but I was lost when the book transitioned from the modern day couple to a Princess who feel asleep in a hammock and woke chasing her dog down to the beach Suddenly, I was drowning while clinging to a rickety staircase uphill and ended up next to my dog, listening to some man tell of Princess Natasha and her brothers, how she wasn t valued by her parents, and was denied the love of her choice while waiting for her father to find a suitable husband for her I think the author saw the story her in her head but failed to make it clear for at least this reader.I enjoyed the story telling, but aside from the smattering of dialogue, that s exactly what this wasa novel that tells rather than shows and kept me from really stepping into the character s shoes and seeing the story from their perspective Rather than showing me excitement through features and actions, the author used descriptive words that didn t make the scenes come alive in most places There were a few moments where the dialogue and action did mesh well, but I wanted muchAlthough I wasn t sure of the era to which the original heroine was transported, I wondered if klutz would have been in the vocabulary.I know this is a prequel forto come from this author, and just as any debut novel, writing is a learning experience As one progresses through the editing processes, one continues to learn There is a compelling story here, just one that I personally would have liked to experience rather than feel like I was being read a bedtime story.I look forward to seeing the growth of Heather Greenis I think she is on the brink of becoming a stellar author

Despite not being the target audience of this genre, I have to say I wasnt sure what to expect of what seemed like yet another romantic novel but as it turns out,Natasha s dreams is no ordinary romantic tale and debut author Heather Greenis sets the tone for the first in a 3 set romantic saga a successful concoction of different genres period drama, politics, mystery , modern romance and coming of age, very well. The lives of modern day couple Keeghan and Will, are paralleled with the long ag Despite not being the target audience of this genre, I have to say I wasnt sure what to expect of what seemed like yet another romantic novel but as it turns out,Natasha s dreams is no ordinary romantic tale and debut author Heather Greenis sets the tone for the first in a 3 set romantic saga a successful concoction of different genres period drama, politics, mystery , modern romance and coming of age, very well. The lives of modern day couple Keeghan and Will, are paralleled with the long ago romance between a young princess, Natasha, and commoner Stewart. However like in all classic fairytales of the princess and her prince, Natasha is a princess coming of age, and must fight to gain control of her life and the love of her affections Stewart Unfortunately Stewart is not of royal lineage, and making the relationship work means deceiving everyone in her family as well as Stewart, her ideal love. What I liked was how the author managed to keep her lead character dreamy, yet relatable at the same time A sad princess who dreams of a better life, who was an unwanted child, born to a father who only wants male child and wants what most other women want to be loved for who she is This classic tale of forbidden love between a common man and a princess has been told many times before, but the key here is the execution. As a male who doesn t normally read romance books, I thought Natasha s Dreams, was a great example of this genre
