This book goes through the Theology of the Body as presented in Love and Responsibility , Man and Woman, He Created Them , Familiaris Consortium, and Mulieris Dignitatem It s a great companion to those texts, breaking down the contents and major themes in each I like how he condensed the ideas in a very graspable form, giving us a lot to chew on, yet not enough to drown in, and providing the resources we need if we wish to dig deeper.

My second introductory book to John Paul s Theology of the Body was another good read This one was getting into the material fairly deeply and covered it very systematically He summarized much of the material, commented why he skipped some material and put it in context with some of John Paul s other writings.I definitely feel prepared to dive into the work which I ve been preparing for by reading this book first. Now, on to the main event.
