Story Telling.I thought this book was very well done for a Coyote folktale It is a bit long for a story time but a great one on one read The illustrations were very consistent and appropriate to the lore being told It is one of the most detailed stories of Coyote stealing fire that I ve read but it doesn t end abruptly like some others.

This is a fun book that tells why different animals look the way they do and how people got fire This is a good book for middle elementary during a Native American unit or folktale unit.
