For such a small book, it was packed with information Gaddis seems to get it right and doesn t fall into stereotypes He conveyed a well rounded picture of the historical evolution of the American Indian experience and helped to reveal a truer picture than the typical myths about them It s not a book about American Indian mythology, but about the misinformed views non American Indians have about this complex array of people.
