Another great little novella from Derek Turner Well written, but it is aimed at youth Really a youth s guide to the mysteries of the history of England and the West Refreshing and positive in outlook Nice to see someone explore the idea of our place in time, andmake it accessible for teens.

Mr Turner wrote this book for young adults but an adult will also enjoy this engrossing and enchanting saga of the isle that hosted Romans, Anglo Saxons and others before the English came into their own It is a can t stop reading kind of book, as all of Mr Turner s books are, even his longer novels for adults A young, troubled boy is told stories one hot summer afternoon by a mysterious stranger who inspires him to pursue his keen interest in the historic and pre historic past of England, ul Mr Turner wrote this book for young adults but an adult will also enjoy this engrossing and enchanting saga of the isle that hosted Romans, Anglo Saxons and others before the English came into their own It is a can t stop reading kind of book, as all of Mr Turner s books are, even his longer novels for adults A young, troubled boy is told stories one hot summer afternoon by a mysterious stranger who inspires him to pursue his keen interest in the historic and pre historic past of England, ultimately leading the boy to the discovery of an old treasure that will doubtless change his life
