After the horrible shooting at the coffee shop, Violet is sent to a rehab facility for a drinking issue and However at New Beginnings the chemistry flairs on a forbidden relationship between her and Cameron her therapist Once Violet is transferred over to a new therapist she is finally talking and discovering what her real issues are However her relationship now with Cameron is heating up Of course nothing can work out well for her, and Nurse Sarah is out for blood If She can t have Cameron than no one will IT was okay but for me I felt that it went off the in it s own way and i really couldn t get into it to much Why I can t really say but I had enjoyed the others in the series.

4 Fiery Hearts I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review Violet Laswell helped her lifelong friend Allie dispose of a body on her twenty first birthday after a night of drinking and ending up at the The Coffee Cave where the shooting had taken place As if that is not bad enough, she also receives her first DWI Her parents insist on her entering rehab Violet does not have a drinking problem, but must go into New Beginnings rehab to keep her secrets and to not be disowned from her family.Violet is instantly drawn to her new counselor Cameron Wentworth but refuses to admit that she has a drinking problem This denial instantly labels her as a problem case but Cameron sees her as a puzzle that he really wants to know how to put together.Relationships between patient and staff are strictly forbidden But a movie night can change it all I probably should have checked with him before shoving a Fish wich into his mouth Choking your counselor with movie snacks is probably a one way ticket to permanent rehab internment But I had one in my hand and his lips were parted and it just seemed like the right thing to do After Violet gets transferred to another therapist she finally starts to open up about her life and figuring out what her true problem is She has a chronic disease of pleasing people While trying to deal with her problem she actually determines she might have a bigger one with Cameron when their relationship starts to cross the line I threaded my fingers through his hair, almost petting him, because I couldn t come up with a proper thank you for orally rocking my freaking world That was he huffed That was Thank you, I muttered, snuggling into his shoulder We should consider that line crossed Baby, I crossed that line the minute I met you, he muttered into my hair The chemistry between Violet and Cameron is very sweet They know they are not suppose to cross a line but really cannot help themselves When they both confide in each other about their past you can sense the passion in their relationship Too bad one of the nurses at New Beginnings is all in Violet and Cameron s business and is out to expose the forbidden relationship If Nurse Sarah cannot have Cameron she will make damn sure that Violet does not have him either I cannot say this enough but I truly love this series I think the authors really bring these characters to life on an individual basis with each book that tells their story after the shooting at the coffee shop The struggles you go through to protect a secret between strangers is strong with each character and just gets better and better. If you have read the series as they release you are really in for a great ride Unfiltered and Unraveled does not disappoint in any way I am impatiently waiting for the next installment, Unfiltered and Undressed Come on July My Favorite Moment One of my favorite moments was when Violet found out she was being transferred to a new therapist and she decided she was going to go straight to Cameron s office and call him out You go girl

3.5 Fiery Hearts I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review This is a wonderful series so far and because of that my standards and expectations for it are high Saying that I felt there was something missing in this book Don t get me wrong, it s still a great story, but it just wasn t one of my favorites.Violet was the one whose family owned the funeral home It was her who had to watch the dead man s body burn into ash But that event wasn t what ended her up in rehab No, it was a one time screw up that caused her family to stand united against her An intervention they had labeled it Only her rehab experience does than heal her non existent addiction it also cures her heart Of course, a certain New Beginnings staff member may have had a small hand in that And if it wasn t illegal, I was writing my Congressman, because I was willing to sponsor the Mandatory Nudity for Hot Rehab Employees Bill Cam considers himself a professional, but one look at Violet tests that in every way imaginable It doesn t help that there s a shower incident that has him fighting against every male urge he has No matter how much he tries or how much space he puts between them he just cannot help the desire and intense need to be with her To hell with the consequences Some people are worth them, as he ll discover I m glad I m frustrating you I might make it my new hobby, an entry on my rehab day planner Ten thirty a.m., annoy Cameron, CHECK Each has a past that scares them to share, but once all the barriers are gone between them there s no denying the electricity Add in an ungrateful family, a rocky friendship, a stalkerish nurse, an always naked roommate, and some hot barn activity and you ve got Violet s interesting after The Coffee Cave story At this point, I d gotten over the weirdness of Cam seeing me naked and was enjoying the fact that Cam freaked out every time I walked into a room Rehab was bringing out some really twisted aspects of my personality My Favorite Moment Movie Night I loved the entire night Swedish Fish wich Unwanted yet delightful sharing And the comment Violet makes about what the popcorn machine could be used for It was the funniest part of the entire book Swedish Fish which It s the Holy Grail of movie snacks, the perfect combination of salty and sweet My Favorite Hot Damn Moment Definitely the spa massage Talk about a body feeling like jelly after that afternoon Now that s how you end a massage

Unfiltered Unravelled , Unfiltered Series Book 6, Payge Galvin and Danni Pleasance Review from Jeannie Zelos Book reviews Well, I m not usually a fan of serial novels, but this series is just that bit different It has an overall story but each edition could be almost a standalone novel, and so far I ve really enjoyed each part Also, I was concerned about continuity with there being several different authors, but the ones I ve read so far dovetail together perfectly, maybe as it s author collaboration with Payge authoring each so far So far all my concerns, except pricing, are turning out to be groundless and the pricing will tell given time So far each novel is around 200 pages and 2 so reasonable cost This time we meet Violet, the one who disposed of the body, via cremation in her families funeral home She s been done for drink driving, although it was the first time she s been drunk, usually she s the driver and has a two drink rule, but as it was her birthday her friend Allie was supposed to drivebut as usual got too drunk Poor Violet, her cold and uncaring family are horrified and she s banished to a recovery unitharsh perhaps bit she meets Cameron there He s one of the therapists and there s an immediate sensual attraction between them.and that s not allowed of course Violet is a great character, she so funny and witty, her jibes made me laugh so much Oddly the unit helps her, not because she needs the drink therapy but its clear she has other problems and needs help with them and slowly she starts to learn she doesn t need to please everyone all the time at the cost of her own happiness I really enjoyed this, didn t see how anyone could find humour and love via a recovery unit, but Payge and Danni have done it, and done it well Another fun instalment with some hot sex, and one that really surprised me Stars four and a half, a really diverting, sexy read ARC supplied via Netgalley.

Loved this novella I ve been following the series and have been really happy with the all the novellas written so far UNFILTERED UNRAVELED had me laughing out loud This installment of the Unfiltered series is of a straight contemporary romance The previous stories had a touch of danger to them This story was downright hilarious in parts Downright sensual in other parts Well thought out storyline that pinged off several emotional nerves and not just my funny bone I find it hard to believe this is Ms Pleasance s first book The dialogue felt as though I was eavesdropping in on other people s conversations Characters come off as people that walk the same streets I do There are no awkward moments in the book that feel off and shouldn t be there All in all it s very well developed with a satisfactory ending, even though I hated to see the last paged turned, I enjoyed it so much.Violet at 21 is a typical college student Her one big fling of finally letting herself go to have a drunken night of craziness turns into a nightmare when she and her BFF, Allie, are involved in covering up a murder Since her family owns the funeral home I bet you can guess what part of the cover up she was assigned To top it off she ends up getting arrested for drunk driving after taking Allie home from the disposal Being forced into a spa like rehab facility for a non existent drinking problem brings out the witch in her with a capital B Throw in a wacky roommate that thinks running around their personal space nude is OK, and a super delicious hunk of male counselor you have the stage is set for one month of very unique therapy One of my favorite novellas in the romance genre.HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone 18 and over due to the wonderful steamy scenes of pleasure.

Received a free copy in exchange for an honest review via NetGalley Thank you I normally don t work with halves, but I ll make an exception for this one 3 1 2 stars is my actual rating. Why SPOILERS I think the story deserves a 3 which means I liked it because I did I liked it, but I wasn t that attached to the characters or the story It was pretty clich girl is attracted to supervisor and vice versa, another girl is jealous, forbidden love, they get busted, supervisor is fired and they live a happy ever after There wasn t really something new in this story so that s why I would give it a 3.BUTBut I really liked the writing Especially when they had sex, or when Cam fingerhumped Violet, because let s face it, those scenes were hot as hell. The book was also pretty funny Not to the point where I had to snort out loud or where I couldn t stop laughing, but I was regularly grinning because of the comebacks so that s good That s why I would give it a 4 So I took the number in between as my rating.Overall I liked the book I don t regret I read it but if I have to compare, I d say I liked Unfiltered Unlawful better
