    Michael Reisig has out done himself again This is a rewrite of an earlier book that was one of a pair, and Michael found ways to make it even better Lots of swashbuckling sword and cannon fights, colorful character descriptions, steaming romances with vivacious women and some of the best scene descriptions Michael, or any other author for that matter, has ever produced You owe it to yourself to read this book.

    Really enjoyed this book Wanted to read part II but I was on a cruise so I didn t have a great way to download it didn t want to buy until I read the first one He did a wonderful job with the pirate speak, felt like I was really listening to the buccaneer s talk Fun pirate book for a cruise I ll have to check out part II when I get some time

    Good old swashbuckling adventure Good read Historical fiction is not usually my favorite category, but this one sucked me in A few of the scenarios were a little unbelievable, but overall, a decent little read.
