What a fantastic, adrenaline pumped ride this book is From the opening pages, I felt I was going to enjoy this tale about a rock band called Twisted Epiphany great name, and top of the cool pile for me and it s clear we are in for a fast paced novel Despite the length, it never lets up, and whilst Zaryk Gage Hunter is our MC, there are others like Lyndsay, plus Z s brothers Zayne and Zayden that light up the tale. Most interesting is the chapter focus from each character s viewpoint If you r What a fantastic, adrenaline pumped ride this book is From the opening pages, I felt I was going to enjoy this tale about a rock band called Twisted Epiphany great name, and top of the cool pile for me and it s clear we are in for a fast paced novel Despite the length, it never lets up, and whilst Zaryk Gage Hunter is our MC, there are others like Lyndsay, plus Z s brothers Zayne and Zayden that light up the tale. Most interesting is the chapter focus from each character s viewpoint If you read the book too quickly, you would be forgiven for wondering which character is narrating But as the reader becomes accustomed to the author s style, it s an easy, engaging read.Although the story opens with a grass hockey related scene, featuring Zaryk s super cute sister Zoey as an ex ice hockey player I was immediately invested in the story it immediately hits us with a something that was truly a surprise to me I think the author was brave to write the scene so well, and I give her kudos for that.Zaryk is a young guy, and I can recall at that age what hormones were doing to me So although I found some of Zaryk s behaviour questionable, I couldn t help but agree that I did some of those things too He s a player, knows his band is going places, and laps up the attention from the girls around him.The story, whilst certainly a red on the hot scale, has a central plot line running through it that just compels you to read It is this that I enjoyedthan the very many sex scenes in the book They are well written and believable The consequences of certain liaisons are well done too, andI congratulate the author again on her descriptive narrative, It s excellent. This is book one, and I wonder where it goes next Will Zaryk ever calm down he seems very highly strung and those around him especially in the band, seem unable to control him, even though they say they are there for him, that s nice in theory, the practice turns out rather differently.I also enjoyed some of the truly funny moments in the story, that, amongst the high drama of the tale, I wasn t expecting I raise a glass to Amberlynn in this case.Certainly read this book The author has a clear handle on her story, and the cover so often lacking true cohesion with the tale inside, is brilliant and gives you a believe Zaryk.I rate this story very highly, and believe you will too

A tragedy A rock star and his best friend Right away you know the story is going to be drama filled But what I didn t expect was the very steamy scenes that occurred, they were definitely hot and written with good taste. The loss of his sister places Z into a deep depression and he used alcohol to ease the pain It is alcohol that places him in bed with his best friend Lyndsay, dampers on their friendship When the morning comes, Lyndsay simply runs away and it s years before they connect agai A tragedy A rock star and his best friend Right away you know the story is going to be drama filled But what I didn t expect was the very steamy scenes that occurred, they were definitely hot and written with good taste. The loss of his sister places Z into a deep depression and he used alcohol to ease the pain It is alcohol that places him in bed with his best friend Lyndsay, dampers on their friendship When the morning comes, Lyndsay simply runs away and it s years before they connect again What happens next You will have to read the story to understand It is so tightly knitted, it is hard to do a review without giving away the story, but I will say one thing that ending nearly killed me, talk about a cliffhanger. The writing was very unique and the author did a fantastic job of keeping you on the edge of your seat and although I was not a fan of the way the first book ended, I am definitely looking forward to reading the next one I sure hope this author has the sequel out soon My rating 4.5 out of 5.0

This series is taking a unique approach to creating a book series Instead of the main characters being the same in each book, it will change between the band members in each book An interesting idea, and I am curious how this will be done Will the story overlap in each book Or will the next pick up where the last stopped Fair warning, book 1 did end at a bit of cliff hanger, the kind that makes you groan and shake your first So let s hope the author doesn t keep us waiting too long. Now, I l This series is taking a unique approach to creating a book series Instead of the main characters being the same in each book, it will change between the band members in each book An interesting idea, and I am curious how this will be done Will the story overlap in each book Or will the next pick up where the last stopped Fair warning, book 1 did end at a bit of cliff hanger, the kind that makes you groan and shake your first So let s hope the author doesn t keep us waiting too long. Now, I ll admit, I had a few annoyances with this book Three of the characters have very similar names Zaryk, Zayne, Zayden I started reading it, saw that, and was like, Yup, I m gonna get them confused with each other I plowed ahead regardless, hoping I could enjoy the book anyway I didn t even try to figure out who was who The three are triplets, and I think they even look identical Not enough information was given to help me differentiate between them Like, there was no, so and so is the tallest, this guy has short hair, only this one wears a Mohawk, I know one does but all three could for all I know The only time they were compared to each other was when one of the girlfriend s said they all have huge penises, so from that I decided to surmise they are identical triplets. The story switches between the male and female characters that the love story revolves around It s told in first person and normally I prefer to stay in one character s head if the story is first person Usually that s because an author doesn t do a good job making the narration sound different and I get confused as to whose head I m in I will applaud this author in that she kept her voices very distinct I had no problem knowing whose head I was in, even if I skipped the chapter title that reminded me.The plot is basically a soap opera revolving around the rock band Which fans of romance and erotica novels should enjoy, which is who this book is targeting at So you will not be disappointed if that s what you are looking for.Yes, this is an erotica, and it has a disclaimer, but to me that content wasn t too graphic I actually read this on a plane and I know the people next to me were glancing over What made me embarrassed to be reading it was all the cussing The F word was used so often it became a filler word with no meaning I get that some people may talk like that, but when it s in a book, it can start grinding on you Especially when it seems that every single character uses the word just as much as the next If it was just one or two characters that used it constantly, it would have beenplausible to me And it was just that one cuss word, over and over, seriously, every ten words, was the F word I think I would have enjoyed the bookif I d had a censored version. All in all, it was a good read If you can ignore the overuse of the F word and the easily confused Z names It is a quick read too I was able to finish it on my four hour flight I d recommend it if you like drama filled eroticas because this one sure does deliver

Will they or won t they be together Normally, I am far from being an adult romance XXX novel reader Mostly, I would only skim over the adult romance parts and focus only on the plot and characters Yes, I admit it, I am usually nixing the sex scenes Not so with this one I found myself beginning the journey with Lyndsay and Zaryk and committing to the entire story, every word, sex and all At points during the sizzling scenes I was thankful it wasn t a paper copy I was reading as it surely would have burst into flames with all the sexy passionate heat it contained I m surprised my kindle didn t get fried It s that hot Saying that, I also have to say that the author had a way of making the smut something beautiful that included raw emotion and the story line itself It made those scenes completely worth it The author created characters that felt real to me, as if they were a part of my life all along and I was sitting back listening to them tell me the story of how they met Lyndsay annoyed the heck out of me, and to say that isn t bad, the writer did that well in creating the character She s that annoying friend you want to shake and hug at the same time Zaryk, part of the band, looks the part, but his insides are a big pile of mushy love and emotions Not a womanizer, but the one woman kind of guy, that looks like a bad boy What most girls dream about As the reader, it s almost impossible not to fall in love with him.A cup of coffee, book, and snuggling down is my idea of a perfect day The same could be said for this book, however, I think a nice cool cocktail, or glass of wine, while reading in bed by candle light, paints aideal picture I got lost in the book and could do it over and over again Not too soon though, my e reader and I need to cool down first. There are fourbooks to come in this series, and C.A Jonelle was genius at giving us a peek at the other characters in the band and their girlfriends Making it so I wanted to knowabout them The future books can t come soon enough I want to become friends with them and hear and get lost in their stories too Until we meet again Twisted Epiphany.Merged review Welcome to Luckey, Ohio and the
