Possible spoilers Once , this author grabbed me from the first page The author, once , brings us into a world of violence, mistrust and despair Her ability to pull you into this crazy world is admirable She doesn t hesitate to decimate entire towns to provide fodder for the angst of the characters That takes some pretty big balls It s disturbing when you read it but once you think about it, it had to be this way because nothing else would have made sense Kudos to the author.Theo and Daelin work through anger and mistrust to come together between battles Daelin is provided with a good back story but Theo was left as a bit of a mystery I would have liked to learn about him.I m glad she gave us the antagonist to hate for the entire book I m guessing ...
