3.5 stars for this next Kiss of Leather installment While I enjoy this series, this book kind of felt like two novellas It began with the kidnapping of Liam and the relationship between him and Neal the tattoo shop, the previous sex trafficking and a beautiful proposal Then we are back to Tobey who ran away suddenly because he was in love with Hunter and felt it wasn t reciprocal Hunter becomes a grump and realizes Tobey is definitely the one for him While they rekindle th...

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads This is the seventh book in the series, and I do recommend that you read them all, and in order to get the full impact of this story The first third brings to a very satisfying conclusion the ongoing investigation of abductions and is quite dramatic, to say the least Although the events that led up to this point involved Corey most of all, it is Liam and his new Master, Niall who suffer the brunt of this stage of the drama As someone who has been keen for the issue to be resolved in a satisfactory way, I was very pleased with the outcome. The rest of the story centres on Tobey, who left after he believed Hunter rejected him, and who knows he has to come back, as his family do not want him He takes a bold step in asking for his job back, and inadvertently makes it known that he has a problem with Hunter Obviously fate intervenes and along with many other fabulous pairings at Kiss of Leather, these two finally ...

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. With Facing Fears I felt like we got two different stories for the price of one The beginning has us spending a little bit of time with Liam and Neal and also following Chuck as he pursues the white van he was following at the end of the previous book The story took a turn I wasn t expecting and we get some nerve wracking action The story then moves on to Toby and Hunter Toby is broke and wanting to return to LA and Kiss of Leather, having left his job the month before after having his heart broken by Master Hun...

I received a copy to read and review for Wicked Reads I really enjoy this series I hope this isn t the last book since the mystery of Corey s kidnapping is finally solved Boy that was some ending to that whole portion of the story line GO LIAM I did feel like the first part of the book was about Liam and Neal and then the second part was about Hunter and Tobey I really wanted of Hunter and Tobey, I felt like we got a little jipped, time jumped and we didn t really get a lot of...

Facing Fears Kiss of Leather 7 by Morticia Knight4 starsM M BDSM RomanceTriggers Kidnapping, deathI was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads. This is a series that should be read in order there are characters that appear in multiple books and a story line that you ll need to understand. This begins with the resolution of Corey s story I like that it was resolved, but felt it was really out of place It almost seemed as an afterthought rather than an integral part of the previous books.Master Hunter and Tobey have had a rough go of a training relationship Master Hunter is a person who believes that he cannot be in a monogamous relationship While he was willing to take on a sub for training, he is unwilling to allow himself than that Tobey is someone who has been hurt before by a Dom at Kiss of Leather and when he is taken in by Master Hunter, he wants to keep his emotions in check, but he s a man who follows his heart So, when Master Hun...

Just as with the previous books in the series, Facing Fears must be read in order The book opens just after the close of the previous book, Cutting Cords, and than the first quarter of the book continues to center on Liam and Neal Chuck is also involved, and, honestly, I couldn t be happier I loved Liam s story so much, and being able to see of him especially this much was a pleasant surprise. The blurb pretty much reveals everything that needs to be said about the story, so I ll skip a recap here There are a lot of moving parts in this book, and Morticia Knight handled it well as she wove all of the stories together When Liam s story finally gets his closure, it s time for Tobey and Hunter to step into the spotlight.I had enjoyed seeing peeks of Tobey throughout the other books, and it was nice to see him get his Master Having been brokenhearted over Gavin and Kyle in the first book, his story has been a long time coming Of course, it s not without its drawbacks Hunter and Tobey have a misunderstanding that causes Tobey to flee, and it starts with him co...

3.5 stars It takes a really good series to keep me interested and invested for seven books Mortica Knight has managed to so with her Kiss of Leather series and the newest addition, Facing Fears is a nice contribution A little lighter on the BDSM aspect than the previous books have been but that doesn t mean there wasn t plenty to keep me engaged after all in this book we finally get the resolution to the kidnapping ring that terrorized Corey and plagued all of the major players in the books thus far It was quite the climax, even if it was resolved rather quickly once we got to the end The rest of the book focuses on Master Hunter He s the newest partner in Kiss of Leather and isn t as close to the others as they are with one another He s definitely the odd man out looking in The other partners are in committed relationships that are flourishing and are happily in love Hunter has always felt like relationships weren t for him, that he didn t have what it took to commit to one person After a really blunt talk with Gavin, Hunter begins to reflect and admits that maybe all is not lost It s too bad that the one person he could see a future w...

This book starts with a bang, let me tell you By now fans of this series know that each new book starts with a quick catch up with the couple from the previous book Let s just say that Facing Fears brings everything with Corey s past and that circle of sadistic craziness to a close Finally, retribution, and leave it to Knight to throw another curve ball in there for her readers Moving right along Tobey left KOL when a comment from the one man he could see being his Master, his forever love, is taken out of context Or should I say, Hunter misspoke and didn t take the time to make himself clear, so Tobey ran simply out of self preservation Fate has an uncanny knack of getting her way though, so Tobey comes home, back to KOL with one request He doesn t want to have to deal with Hunter The Master is going to have to be the one to bend and acclimate if he stands a chance of winning Tobey s forgiveness, his trust, but most importantly his heart I think one of my favorite aspects of this series is how every Dom and every Sub are different Seven books in and every storyline changes to fit that particular couple Also, the Author does a phenomenal job of really explaining the lifestyle which includes unique descriptives for each character and what makes them tick While I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series, Core...

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.Book 7 in the series, and you REALLY should read the others first, they work so much better for you, if you do We met Master Hunter and Tobey in the previous book, but it wasn t clear they had any scenes, of anything In this book, Tobey has run home because of something Master Hunter said And when Tobey decides that home is NOT Idaho, but in the company of those who live and breathe the lifestyle, he knows he has to face Master Hunter again He just doesn t know if his heart can stand it What I particularly enjoyed about this one was, that Master Hunter and Tobey already had their getting together, they had their feelings grow and develop, and this is about them getting back together And, also, don t die of shock, here folks there is very little sexy time Yes, yes I know, I KNOW I usually like my books with lots of sexy time, and this whole series has been amazing for that, but this book Not needed, at all Cos what it s about is really two men, getting their act together and telling each other how they really feel When Tobey gives Master Hunter a...

Facing Fears is the seventh book in the Kiss of Leather Series by author Morticia Knight This is not a stand alone series They all build on each book We met Tai and Hunter in the last book Now we get to see how they are progressing Snails are moving faster than these two It is not for lack of Tai s personality either. We catch up with people too See where they are today.Liam works at a tattoo and piercing shop he and his master own Liam also gets a little surprise of the unwelcome kind Neal gets to have his love and patience tested.Chuck ends up doing something we never really thought Chuck would be the one doing Honestly shocked me Who knew Chuck could be badass Hunter, he is the Trainer for the Kiss of Leather He trains subs He is training Tobey when we meet him Hunter doesn t think he does bonds That is Till Tobey decides he is no longer waiting for a Master he is gonna go get one.Tobey comes from a home that does not accept him or his lifestyle He fled to L.A in hopes of finding a home and acceptance He found it at the Kiss of Leather But when he figures out that the one man he wants does not want him he gives up and goes home to lick his wounds when he comes back to the club Hunter knows he has...
