This is one of my mother's favorites so I always knew it was one of Christie's most famous and best murder mysteries I never knew much about it until I caught an episode of Doctor Who wherein they mentioned a spoiler Rather than ruining the book for me and extinguishing the desire to read the story for myself it intrigued me I'm so glad I made sure to read this one rather than avoid it assuming there wouldn't be any surprises left There was of course than one twist and an excellent colorful cast of characters Christie is as always a master story teller

This book keeps you guessing until the killer is revealedThe character development is amazing in this book They all have such rich personalities and I love how you learn about the main character Hercule Poirot while learning about the support characters Through so many twists and turns and a lot of conspiracy theories Agatha Christie has woven a very entertaining web

The Murder on the Orient Express is a realistic fiction story written by Agatha Christie in 1934 This story is about a man who has been murdered on the Orient Express and detective Hercule Poirot has to find out who murdered him The only thing he knows is that it must have been one of the 12 people on the train Detective Poirot has help from a doctor and the wagon lit conductor but in the end he is the one who needs to find out this mysterious murder My favorite part of this murder mystery is when the story starts to pickup some pace When Poirot starts finding clues you'll be begging to know When you start getting to the evidence you won't want to put the book down This book is a page turner I made a connection with Hercule Poirot because he was trying to find out who killed the man the whole time and I am always trying to find out who took my chocolate bar or gift card Even though it is not as extreme Even though the first three or four chapters were slow the rest of the book was very fast pace This book was written in the 1930s so the text is worded a little differently but you get used to it I would recommend this book to people that love a good murder mystery Agatha Christie is a great author and I can't wait to read the rest of her series

Murder on the Orient Express was an interesting novel Agatha Christie did a very well job of keeping the reader wanting to read and not making it obvious about who the murder is The book was a bit difficult only because the names of the characters she uses are hard to pronounce and are older names While reading this book I felt like I was a real detective and was in a court room at the same time I would recommended this book to anyone who enjoys mystery's and murder novels it was a great book

This classic stretches the sleuthing skills of the reader I had a time with the clues and the deductions especially transporting my mind to the time period in which this takes place I enjoyed the journey Thankfully there were no leaps in cogitation that made me feel I could not think clearly Each point was well thought through logical and even historically interactive Hercule always makes me smile for one reason or another

It is an awesome book I've always liked Agatha Christie she is an excellent writer I'd read an spoiler but it actually made me want to read it even The ending of this book is so unexpected the way Hercules Poirot figures everything out I don't know how to express it I really recommend this book

  10. says:

An excellent whodunit with lots of twists in the plot This book makes me want to take a fancy train ride through Europe one of these days
